does anybody have one or a similar bolt on TBI setup, cuz its time for some gnu stuff and just wanted to get a little info and insight on em.

I had one, 900 cfm, 4Di for a couple years. Easy enough to install, fairly decent manual. This system has been replaced by the Commander series, which is supposed to address some of the more common complaints with the Pro-jection.

My problem with it was that even though it was infinitely tuneable, it needed to be infinitely tuned. It ran like a toilet until it went closed loop, and then it worked ok. I could never get mine to idle, it would always surge up and down.

I still have my Holley TBI, but I junked the ECM and harness and installed a GM computer with a Howell chip and harness.

Howell also makes ver good kits. Tons of applications too. I got one for my 4.2L and love it.
