Hello ALL,
I have a '93 F-250 4X4. My Interior light, stereo, speedometer, and odometer quit working. All at the same time. I've checked the fuses ,they seem fine.
Everything seemed fine yesterday, but this morning, they are just toast.
Sounds like a fuse to me??There are also some fuses/relays under the hood on top of the fenderwell. The fuses are all fine, how do I check the relays ? Any other ideas?

I kind of like not having an odometer, but no tunes, AAAHHHH

Even though fuses sometimes dont look blown they still can be. Ive had that problem before with my old car, none looked blown but one of them still was and caused a lot of grief.

Factory Stereo? Did you probe any of the harness for power to the effected circuits? How did you check the fuses? Visually or with an ohmmeter for continuity? If you checked em visually, try again with a multi-meter set for continuity check. Definately sounds like a fuse, as those circuits shouldn't share a ground, how 'bout power in the fuse box itself? Checked it for meltdown?

Replace your accesories fuse with a 15?? amp fuse. If it keeps blowing then its probably your ground on your stereo (if you have an aftermarket on installed). Your cigarette lighter still works though right?

Well, I decided (persitant posts above) to check the accesories fuse again. LOL
Looked fine, but I replaced it anyways, and removed some copper wire that was jammed in there. All is now OK.
Looks like previous owner was in need of a power source, and decided to create a jumper from the fuse.

Any $1 fix, is a good fix. Thx.
