what mods must i undertake to fit a clevland into my 85 ranger?

NOW thats something I would love to see, either a 351 Cleveland or even better 429/460 powered Ranger!

Dont know if theres enough room between the fenderwells for either though but you never know, theres kits out there to stuff 460s into 5.0L Mustangs.

But if there is, then I foresee problems with Tranny (bodylift, weld in a bigger tranny tunnel?) Exhaust ( Total custom headers), Mounting (Fab new motor mounts), Cooling (Way bigger rad).

But go for it and call me when its done!

there was buddy at the waiparous clean up with the ranger on a one ton frame who stuffed a 460 into his ranger

figures i would remove inner fenderwalls and use one piece front end. I was thinking about a built clevland but a 429 would be sweet

me thinks ur best bet would to do it like the ranger that XJwebwheel metioned, 1ton frame and junk and toss ur ranger body on it.
