my toyota came with a lock-rite in the back. having never before driven a vehicle with a locker in the back, it is certainly interesting. i'm pretty sure it is what is making the driveline clunk due to the 1/8-1/4 turn slop in the rear end. i guess it also engages or something when i turn a corner, then gas it because i get a nasty clunk then. it bugs me. question - is it worth it to take it out and sell it - my truck is not going on any trails or anything. also, assuming it is easy to take out, how much would i get for it? according to the invoice, it was put in around 1997. thanks.

take this from a guy who has had a few lockers,one now ,and many friends who have had them .if your not going to wheel your toy pull the locker . besides it only will take 2 hours tops,it would'nt hurt to change your gear oil anyway, and you could sell it for at least 150 bucks mabey more , and you wont be klunking or wearing out your rear tires . hope i helped
