Just an FYI for you guys.. Toyota has a HighPinion axle as well.. It's from an FJ80 Land Cruiser. Easy mod to take the High pinion 3rd from an FJ80 from axle and retro-fit it into a standard Toy Solid front axle.. Or do what I did and put the whole FJ80 front axle under your truck...

Also you can get the FJ80 front axle with standard electric locker...

9" Fords dont COME in High Pinion, they are modified with 8.8 gears, etc by the aftermarket. Currie is the only one that I know of. Being they use the 8.8 gearset, the gears arent as strong as the 9".

Yes, actually you are right Fordboy Me big dumb dumb Ford doesn't have the 9" hp option, it was their IFS I got confussed with the 9". I'm not sure about Currie, but I know that Randy's Ring & Pinion sells these housings with carriers in a larger size for 35 spline axles. I wonder if these are using 8.8 gears as well, and it's much like Superior's Super 35 which uses 30 spline shafts for the dana 35? In any case, even with an 8.8 R&P, it's stronger than a 44, and with a 35 spline setup, it's nearly as strong as a 9", only .20" smaller on the ring gear dia. The 8.8 has a larger pinion shaft diameter as compared to the 9" as well.
