I WANT a Dana 60 for my '78 Bronco. It HAS to be out of a '78 or '79. I can also trade my '78 F250 front D44 (w/4.10's) + cash for your front D60 if you have one but dont need the beef. email twinturbo5l@yahoo.ca

just curious.if your truck is a 78 f250 shouldn't you already have a strong front diff?you stated that you have a dana 44.is it a half ton dana44 or the 3/4ton dana 44?if its the 3/4 ton you can just swap out the 1/2 ton knuckles for the 3/4 ton knuckles and gear.i know of a few dana 60s but most are asking around $1600ish.i say way too much.talk to dereck at total driveline he seems to be able to track down dana 60 front diffs.if your front dana 44 is leaf sprung and you don't need it what do you want for it?

I hava a '78 Bronco that I want to convert to 1 ton, I have a '78 F250 parts truck that I baught for the axles, engine and a fender. It has 8 bolt D44 in front, that I will be swapping the knuckles off for my bronco's 1/2t D44 unless I get a D60 in the front then, I will be selling my front 3/4t D44 front axle and my 1/2t D44 axle. Yes $1600 is alot of money and I'd NEVER pay it. If someone doesn't need their D60 and wants to trade I'll probably throw in around $800. It'll be a bolt in swap. And they don't really lose anything.
