Who can tell me what size diff's were on the 83 to 93 Dodge 4x4 full size and what were the most common gears.

My Ramcharger is an 83 and it came stock with the chrysler 9.25 with 373's in the rear and a Dana 44 in the front.

1/2 ton 3/4 ton?
Bro inlaw has a 3/4ton 1998 w/ d60 front and rear w/ 4.10's

I had a 84 ramcharger with d44 infront 9.25 in rear 3.73 gears
fairly strong handled my 38.s just fine

not all 9.25 diff were hard on the pocket book. that is all I own are dodge and i find them quite easy and cheap for lockers. I have a 77 ramcharger with a 79 front clip and rear end with 3:55 gearing posi front and rear.

Most 83 through early 90s came out with 3:21 gearing I believe.
