Okay I know that not too many people on the site run lifts on the newer Dodges. But I am curious if anyone has used Daystar spacers and or procomp spacers. What did you use for the rear to increase lift. Here are my plans and goals

I have talked to many people in the US that are running large lifts on the newer Dodges and I am planning to run at least 39.5 boggers right now. But the amount of lift I will need for no rub is 12 inches.

Here is what I have figured out so far
- 7 inch front skyjacker coils for a 2500 diesel in the front but on a 1500 give on average 3-4 inches more lift than in a Diesel but have the same spring rate as a 1500. Plus I will be running my 3 inch coil spacers on the front and that adds upto 13-14 inches up front but with my bumper and winch combo about 10-11 up front.

Now my biggest problem is that for the rear no one that I have found makes springs for the rear over 4 inches of lift. I want to eliminate the rear blocks in the rear (3 inch) so to match the front and still have the rear 2 inches higher like stock I will need to run about 15 inch lift springs. But if I use the BDS shackle reversal (5 inches) and longer shackles ( 2 inch) I should be able to get away with 8 inch lift springs. Is there anyone that makes custom lift springs in town or will I have to goto National springs to get some made?

Also I think I will have to move the coil mounts on the front of my Dana 60 to change the front pinion angles to that I can use a driveshaft on it and I will have to make some custom links as well. I would like to use the now top link and move it to the stock bottom link bracket on the frame and make a new longer link on for the bottom link that would mount near the T-case crossmember.

So here is the list of part I know I will need. If I am missing anything please let me know.

- new shocks
- new brake lines
- new custom rear springs
- new custom links for the front axle
- new custom drive shafts front and rear
- BDS shackle flip kit for the rear
- Procomp 3" spacers for the front
- new custom front trackbar
- new custom steering
- front limiting straps

I know I have missed something ???

I don't know if you're missing anything, but I like the sounds of it. BRAVO I'd like to be around the 13"-15" mark when I'm said and done

They make them but they sell them to the states and then they sell them back to us. This was Standens is clear of any legal issues with them.

Many of the spring packs I have seen from companies in the US have "MADE IN CANADA" right on them...

Have you looked at Bushwhacker cut out flares. I know on the Furd Super duties you can fit 37" with no lift... Or rather never mind.. it seems they don't yet offer the cut outs for the 94 and up Rams.. But my 2 cents.. break out the sawzall

I've always thought that the R series pickups (94-01) had NARROW (front to back) wheel wells, I wouldn't cut them out though, it wouldn't look like a dodge anymore...

Yeah I have looked at the bushwacker flares but there is just no where to cut without cutting my floor out. The rear of the front fender is only 1.5 inches wide and then the door so I would be cutting my door frame and cab floor out to clearance more, but the rear there is no problems there it alot of space.

The problem is that the front and rear axles are not centered in the wheel wells. The front is about 2 inches to the rear of the wheel well and larger tires hit the cab during flex and turn and the rear axle is 1.5 inch forward in the wheel well but is not really a problem as they are not turning in the wheel (YET )

My end goal when I the truck is payed off it to remove the box shorten the frame relocate the front axle and run a full EXO cage and only have the cab a hood and tool box and fuel cell running 44's which as much or less lift than I have now. Big hopes for the rig...

Jay, A-Tron makes axle offset blocks. Milled from 1018 steel bar, moves axle forward or backward, 1" or 1.5" Goes between....... Never mind (coils not springs in your rig)

That a tough spot you've got there. I don't have any answer but UP. Get 'er higher. BTW, did you paint your truck red?

No that is not my truck but that is where all the Dodges with larger tires hit because the front axles are not centred correctly. This is the reason I am only running 35s right now. I might try some 37s and let them clearance a bit for me until I get all the parts for the conversion I am planning....BIG mods in the future but not until I have all the Major parts for it and something else to drive for a while work on the RIG.

facerape;

I don't think you can eliminate the rear lift blocks for two reasons. One reason is the bumpstop is part of the block and from what I've read, the spring pad is not flat, but a little high in the middle which would cause your rear axle housing to rock back and forth. I read this on some other web site.
But I'm pretty sure it's true.
You could check it out while you have it all apart, and let us know what you find. OK? just my 2 cents

All true but I am swapping out the axle for a 14 bolt and I am going to mount the bumpstops on the frame...
