what years of the scouts and bronco are good for dana 44 or ford 9" swaps? i know that you can find scouts with the drivers side pumpkin and 60" width(1" less then yj) what years are these from the rigs?

I could measure mine up, I'll get back to you on that tonite. I do beleive you would require the ones from a 66-77 for a YJ. But if you can spend the cash, any Dana 44 from the years 77-79 but for the 9" any one from an F150 can be shortened to fit and its not really overly expensive. Shortening and race axles can be had for about 600.

My 76 disc braked 44 came in at 59" wheel to wheel. I would think the other two with drums would be VERY close if not identical.
