It’s too bad that the Drum bog is the same date as Ken and Lisa’s (Mr. & Mrs. Jeep Stuff’s) wedding. There is NO way I would miss their big day. I have to be there to wish them the best Sorry!!!
I believe they have extended an open invitation to all their friends and customers to go out to their Jeep Stuff Acreage July 13 after 8;00 PM. They'll have tunes, a bon fire, dancing in the new shop, a toonie bar, snax and hopefully an awesome redneck wedding hoedown! Camping will be available and children are welcome. Bring a lawn chair if you like to sit! If I’m wrong Lisa, say it now, otherwise you’re having a huge bash girl. Congrats girfriend!!!!!!!!!!!
And as for the Crowstnest Bog, oh yeah, WE WILL BE THERE !!!!!!

Yeah! there's a Bog in Drumheller on Sat. july 13, registration is from 9am-11am races start at noon. I fully reccomend bringing gas masks cuz Mrs. Dwellers truck smokes worse than a coal burnin' locomotive I'm being informed that that entry fees are: $30.00 truck entry with 2 pit crew, admission is $5/person or $10/family. And yes there will be photos of Mrs. Dwellers unit parked atop of Deej's unit. ----HEY Knight! you could hit the bog and then Ken and Lisa's is on the way home you could do both? (I know i'm gonna miss a bit of it cuz i have to work but hope to see a bunch of you there).

Duh!! guess i hit the submit button a little soon, it's at the Bleriot Ferry, a major tourist attraction. If coming from Calg. just go north at Beiseker to Acme and then take 575 East towards Carbon/Drum. as you come into the valley at the very bottom of the hill is the turn for the Bleriot Ferry, follow the govt. signs to the ferry you can't miss it, off to the left. I believe the beer on site is Canadian, and the burgers are of high quality. -----Wolf 359-----you best show up, not for the mud, but for the hills! we can do a crawl run after! (i'm still cleaning my seat cover from a run on last Sat.)

What about camping? Can we arrive Friday night?

Where do you want to camp Deej? theres a campground across the road from the bog, or you can park the special event unit in my yard.

Would like to park the unit right near the bog if possible, or as close as we can. Want to have it right there when the crowd is around (And close by for us... Its a great platform to put the lawnchairs on...)

Also Ted, we still on to meet Friday morn out at my Bergen place? Actually around noon would be ok i think!

Whats the name of that campground near the bog? Does it have electricity or any hook ups?

Whats the next closest with hookups if it doesnt? Some of the campgrounds look pretty nice there from what I have seen online.

Just called Dinosaur Trail R.V. Resort and they are fully booked. Some kind of play or something going on there this weekend, and their jammed. Looks like we will be staying at the bog... The river passes right there doesnt it? Would be cool to hang out by the river i think! How far is your place from the bog site ted?

We took the tranny and tcase out tonight.

I'll be dropping the tranny off tomorrow morning and we will try and get it back in for Sat,

I only have one front shock back together, the other one is still broke from TTC, and I am still awaiting parts.

It doesn't look good right now...

Take your time young Wolf put it all together right! Mud Bogs are cool and all but, when you make the time to visit my playground you'll want to be running at your best.Don't forget it's the desert -- a GOOD!! cooling system is in order.(last sat.'s run took 5hr's to go 3km's, almost all vertical) ----My Area Rug Awaits You!!!!

Man it's gonna be some kinda hot in the desert today!!----Mud bog prediction-----Mr. Supreme Forums will win the 44" category, all together now "GO DEEJ"!!!!!!!!!!!

Alas, it was not meant to be...

A VERY large group in our class!!! They split us up strictly by tire size....

There was FAR MORE people in the 44 class than the stockers and 35-40s.....

Anyways, we ended up 5th today out of 8 or ten trucks... I still cant beleive we were that far back because I hauled ass all three runs... But there was small probs in each one, so I guess its not that hard to beleive...

On guy, grant I think his name was, had a old dodge with those narrow ag tires on.. About 40 tall... He kicked ass big time, Really flew through the hole... But his first run sucked... They avergaged the times of all three runs, and he ended up third or something... I couldnt beleive they averaged the runs!! It though it was gonna be best time out of three runs... Sucked they did it that way. Grant deserved the win I think... He was a bit p.o.'d and left....

I also moved the bogger near the public so they could look at it a bit closer. Public wasnt allowed in the pits, so I thought I would be nice and get it there for people to look at.... And they told me to move it back into the pits... So I moved my truck to the trailer to load it up.

It WAS HOT AS HELL out there today too. Too hot for this guy!!! I got hosed off twice at the water truck, and jumped in the river once too. Sleeping last night was a lost cause... THought I was gonna have a coranary in the camper just laying there!!!

They need to change a few things there, but overall it was fun, and we thought we did ok... A good show...

BIG BIG BIG KUDOS to all those gals out there that were doing the raffle tickets and the food stuff and everything. They got the shit end of the stick today in the sweltering heat, and did so awesome under the conditions they were subjected to... They deserve a lot more than they got thats for sure... Good work gals!

Yup, HOT AS HELL!!! pretty much sums it up. Sucks that you didn't bring the green home Deej.I was pullin' for ya! I ended up piloting a buddy's CJ5 to a first place finish in the stocker class, and Mrs. Dweller smoked her unit to a third place finish in the 35" class (way to go baby!). I bet that shower felt good when you got home eh Deej?

Ya man! hahaha Was a lot cooler here too... Now to wash off the truck ang get ready for Crowsnest Next weekend... Its gonna be awesome!
