hey all, might have a chance to pick me up some 35s fer me ford. problem is i don't have an abundance of horsepower (300, I6) and horrible gears. she's already a pain in the butt with the stock 3:07s, so if i get these tires, should i hold off on hacking my fenders to fit them until i can pick up some 4:10s?

John, You NEED gears, there is No way around it. I would go to 4:56 if you buy new, you will like it better, trust me.

I agree man, My bronco has 3.07s with the 302 auto, and 31s on it and it barely has enough power to turn em! I would go at least 3.73s or 4.10s.

i had 35's and 3.50 gears and i could smoke 35's with a warmed up 351m but now im in warmed 400 till summer than its 460 time

trust Phillip? seems like i do that an aweful lot.. hasn't really led me astray yet. guess IF i get the tires, (if they are the great deal i'm led to believe) they can sit in the basement for a while.
nice to know my truck ain't the only one out there thats gutless with decent sized tires on it though tradeoff i'm willin to make though

4.56's are what your going to want...you will be disapointed with 4.10s. I have 3.55's and 35 and I do okay but thank god I have a 5 speed. I am not puttin g gears in these axles but my new axles will be going in when I hit 100,000k only 34,000k from now.

hey john what are you going to do with the 33's?

if the new ones don't fall through, i'd sell em..
