Fist of all, am I spelling Comanche wright? I have no Idea. Anyways, my bud and I are trying to figure what is going to be needed to fit 35/14.5/15 boggers on his Comanche. It has 7" lift over stock now, and he runs 34/9.5/15 swampers with no rub. He still has the stock fender openings, so we can still cut. Can we use flares for a 2-door chrokee? Can we use flares from anything else? plus does anybody know what off-set we should get on the 15x10 rims? we have enough axle and gears to handle the tires but now we just need to work out the space for them. One last question is, has anybody taken off the stock flares, cut the fenders, then shape the old stock flares to the new opening? Thanks for all the help.

if ya do cuttin ...use TJ flares .....they provide more space than an XJ flare

I have never done the stock flare thing ...I have heard of people doing this and their is a writeup on it on JU ..... you cant get the space you get with TJ flares ....done right the TJ flares look very stock on an XJ so I Imagine they they would look great on an MJ as well

If he has the 34's on there now the 35' boggers should fit.

I think If we can find a cheap set of tj flares we may try that. The 35's would fit height wise, but the width is what we need more room for. going from a 9.5" wide tire to a 14.5" wide tire can make a huge difference in fitment. I think a 15X10 wheel with 3" backspacing should also keep the tires out of the fenders? thanks.

I just put on a set of the New Bushwacker cut out flares they open the wheel wells by about 2 inches and cover up a wider set of wheels. You might be able see them in the pics of my comanche.Costs about $600 for the flares which is kinda costly

Thats looks awsome. I just need to figure out if it is worth 600$ though. That is my number one choice though. Thanks.
