3 of course, 15 it's a deuce and a half with custom suspension, 23 leather seats no doors and beats it, 66 he's a spotter from last years event and partied with the candians., 29 he's from alaska and entered like 3 times before , 36 that dude is fawkin crazy ,41 kinda cool and why not eh! , I just like it , 64 cool scout guys name is curtis seems to know his stuff 68 I'm curious how much diff clearance 49's give you on mog diffs and if the diffs are tuff enough to handle the 454 with the big meats. I changed my mind. 69 is cool but it is top TRUCK alternates 76 cool ,72 cool but I thought it was tuff truck and they're makin sure you're somewhat street legal this year, 57, 20 , The best thing about this year is they aren't $150 000 rigs like fat city. Not as wizzy as last year but this year they are all HOME - BUILT says it all baby.

Where are you getting these issues. All my places still have the last issue and no new ones. I will drive acrost the city to get the new one , so where has it? Does chapters sell mags on time? thanks, I can say i will vote, deejay, and that crazy guy, the one with the flying truck, yeah, and untill I see the issue I cant say any others. I like to vote for the "cheapest" truck every year, would be nice to see a <5k truck take home ttc one year. hehehe.

I drove around all the safeways and 7-11s and places like that here in Vernon, and couldnt find any april ones. I then checked out the book store here (they carry everything there man... huge mag rack) and they sold out! But since they are the local distributer for a few other stores here, they told me I could drive 15 min outta town and grab one at a country esso station... So I did... And there it was... I dont know what the mag people were thinking when they put some of those trucks in the mag. They even say themselves in a couple of them that they wont make it or dont have the equipment needed. Lockers, winches etc. There was a LOT of trucks in there that are just taking up magazine space. So much so that I picked 5 trucks, and had trouble picking the next 5... I had to kinda just pick the best of the ones left... Here are my picks... (In my order of coolness) 3 (duh!) hehe My rig 36 (Go Calgary! ) Clays Rig 15 Would be interesting to see this 6x6 in there! It prob wouldnt come close to winning, but still would be cool. 27 A HUGE ford with 52inch tractor tires! Cool! 42 Im a bronco fan of course, so this 1982 Full Size with swapped in solid axle looks cool! 31 1989 S-15 with a chev 350 on mog axles with tractor tires.. 41 1991 Chev s-10 It has a shower!! (And its on airbags too etc) 8 1988 Jeep Wrangler... he popped a Cummins Diesel in it! (And i was getting thin on choices here) 61 1990 Chev 1500 Like i said, thin on choices... Turbodiesel, big newer truck. would like to see those panels all bashed in. (grin) 75 2000 Chev s-10 What the hell... My roll the dice vote. I dont even care about this one... (It is on nitrous though) Very slim pickens this year i think. Unless you are a jeep lover. But tons of junk for sure... Deej

phillip, my mail up here is quicker than urs? the picks: 3 - go Deejay 36 - twister, of coarse 12- like the tire combo, like to see if it works well 23 - would be nice to see a Grand Cherokee, just to be different 67 - whats not to like? 51 - looks like it'll kick some ass (like the colour, he he) 42 - just looks cool, we'll see how it does i guess 75 - beef and looks. 61 - cummins in a chevy = cool 48 - see how tough these unibody vehicles are i must admit, i picked vehicles i think would be cool just to see in action. i'm sure there are more capable rigs in here but.. John

Got my issue at london drugs, heritage and mcl. trl. 3- pitty vote nah, cause it is deejay, and the truck rocks. 15- 6x6 is just plain cool, plus I want to see it sink. 23- grands are cool, I want to see this guy fit 44's too. 27-biggest tire vote. 35- need a laugh vote+ cheapest rig vote+smallest tire vote. 36-wanna see air on the tank trap, plus hes nutz. 48-wanna see the unibody twist to hell 61-Diesel+chev+39.5 boggers= cool 68-big tires, Canadian, huge clearance 69-said it floated last year, want to see if the 44's and fenders changed that. P.S. John sucks

i spent a lot of time looking, researching and seeking professional opinions. Conclusion....i will wait till next year and hopefully the choices will be better OK #3 (but only because that is Dale's number ) and 36 because 3+6=9 and 3x6 =18 and 1+8=9 and two 9's = the second best hockey player ever.

Well I put the ones that I thought would give the best show:
1. #3 2. #20 3. #36 4. #54 5. #57 6. #58 7. #62 8. #65 9. #72 10. #76
Here are the ones that were hard for me not to pick and that I think could come if one of the ten don't make it:
#11 #61 #67 #68 #75
There are some radical rigs to pick from it makes it difficult but either way it should be interesting.

Here's my picks 3 of course a calgary truck, mash that throttle and don't worry the dents just add to the selling price. 5 a truck pretty similar to what I'm building so would like to see what the components can do and take. 8 a cummins jeep, gets a nod for thinking outside the box. 36 is the top truck ready for this maniac?please have fire and medic standing by.Even if it doesn't win they better bring extra film cause photo ops are going to abound. 51 another canuck and a pretty cool jeep to boot. 54 last years alternate, deserves a shot for sure. 61 a big honkin full size truck not cut up to all hell.Hope he don't mind driving like he stole it. 67 the right parts to get it done, let er rip 75 a cool smaller truck, with some cool mods. 76 nothing like an M37,wanna see if that articulating frame actually works or not.
I know I passed up some really modified off road trucks, buggies and just plain creations but I read that part of this years test will be a drive on streets and freeways with the cops proir informed and in wait.Even some of the trucks I picked are marginal on their street legality. But others no doors, fenders, tractor tires, chopped up as all hell not a chance of passing that test.I tried to keep an eye toward trucks that could be driven on the street. Most of us can't afford a truck that is just a weekend toy and a trailer and a pull truck.Good luck to all the canucks who make it,do us proud cause our politicians are just making jackasses out of us at every chance. P.S loved the burb on the cover of the mag except one thing.A blown 350 with stock 10 bolt diffs.Ya right can you say keblewy on the first mud hole.Stick some axles under that puppy or get rid of the dammed pavement queen.

Well, picked up my issue last night, and here goes nothing. 1. # 36 - two words. big air. 2. # 3 - It's Deej. that thing's a beast. go kick their nuts. 3. # 61 - it's fairly new, looks nice, and needs a beating 4. # 23 - cool truck, and his quote (It's about time y'all had a luxury SUV show you how to get it done in style." ahhhh, Texas 5. # 6 - looks like it's already been there 6. # 54 - that's a sweet rig, and he deserves it. 7. # 70 - Highly modified rig, cool features. 8. # 75 - he's got a bunch of spare stuff ready for his rig, meaning he should pound it 9. # 20 - another rig i think is well equipped for TTC 10. # 41 - practically all custom made, ready for action. well, seeing as I'm not a mechanic by any stretch, I'm not sure how educated these picks are... however, they're my opinion and may the top truck win! gonna be tough for some of those rigs to pass as street legal.. good luck dan
