Anyone know the best/least expensive place to buy a quad helmet for a kid??? Is there anywhere that sells good used ones? We are looking for probably a full face one. Any info is great!!! Thanks!

if your looking for dirt cheap start hitting the pawn shops......
got more money?!?!?! start looking at the sport swap stores....
want something new?!?!?! well then try the shops like blackfoot, walt healy, or my new favorite bow cycle
hope this helps a bit.

u dont want a used helmet, if you drop a helmet or it takes a big impact ur supposed to replace it..now sure you might be fine with a used helmet, but if somthing did happen and a better helmet coulda prevented it you would feel terrible, especially since its fer your kidlet..

cheap and safe dont belong in the same sentance, if you can afford a quad for your kid you can afford a new helmet for them too. you can get new kids helmets for like $100

I agree, New it is!!! Oh, and I never said I couldnt "afford" a new helmet for her, I just said I wasnt expecting them to be over a hundred bucks. There is no need to be rude now is there?!!!!!
Thanks for your input guys. Will be picking up a new one asap.

Yup!!! We got one from a buddy to try it out, and I think it will be the same one i will purchase. Light enough for her to hold up, and fully protected. I only asked on here because I have never had to buy one before. I would never cheap out on my childs safety!! Just like any other sane parent!!

I got my full face at Walt Healy for $90.00
And I got a huge head!! So I would imagine a smaller one would be cheaper.
But fer sure get a new one. If you have a $10 head, buy a $10 helmet.
