soooo, what's anybody use for a winch anchor when there's nothing else around(ie: *pull pal* type thingy). anyone make their own *pull pal* and wanna share the plans??? www.pullpal.com

Get yer self some busted D60 axle's that broke at the splines (trust me they are common) and sharpen 1 end with a torch and carry em in the rig, just drive a few in the ground at an angle and wind a strap thru them and hook the winch to the strap.... there is a pic on a winch mfg co's page..... i think there is a good write up on this at www.therangerstation.com may wanna surf over there and have a look.
