Hard tops are out there...

Aftermarket 'plastic' ones are rare and kinda pricey $$$

There are also metal ones (possible factory?) they look rather industrial.

CJ5s are not great in the winter.

I use a second heater, one of the big ass ones from Princess auto and I drive my 75 cj all winter. lots of heat and by 1980 the factory heater was a lot better than my old one.And I think you can run a GM fan for ac it will make your oem heater blow a lot more.just did that to a 83 cj7 for a freind.

i am quite sceptical about driving in the winter... being a newer driver doesnt help.. and where im located and the winter conditions are even worst....but we will see... ill just have to ditch the mudders and go slow...

I have an aftermarket Aluminum hard top and doors that will fit on your CJ5 - fit's well on my 1980 CJ5 but my rig is strictly off road now - PM for details.
