Not trying to step on anybody's toes, but, go talk to Steve at Davenport. They have a couple of dynos, one of which is a chasis dyno. It's around $125.00 for the first pull and I believe somewheres around $25-$50 for each pull after. Good bunch of guys and dey know their sh@t.

Little off topic, but I'm running hyperectic pistons, double plasma rings, and LT1 rods, with mildly ported double hump heads, and a dual cross over with twin 600cfm holleys.. Block is decked, heads are shaved, estimated 10.5:1 compression..

Is it safe to dual plate nitrous this engine.. I also balanced and blueprinted then engine..

dweller.. I'm almost tempted to pull the block and drive down there to take you up on that dyno.. Albeit I spent more than $1000, but I think I'll be close to 400 horse..

Sounds like ya have a good engine but start small real small and remember the jeting values are totally different for duals, If ya want pm me I have all the charts. Oh and upgrade to a "h" beam as well. You sure have alot of carb on there my bogger has a over 500 cube in it and I run 1300cfm and thats a little too much.
My 2 cents is put nitrous on everything that moves, it's just too much fun

No NO I said ya start with 50 and go in 10-15hp incriments so it goes 50 then 180hp after that you back it off to 200. If your stanfeild do not have any brown streaks in them take the main line off stick it in the carb wire it on with some trusty mechanic's wire and when the time is right open the valve. hehehehe

The rods used to be the "pink" rod GM made.. Is forged that much better for nitrous..
