ok this is the situation.i blew the c5 trany in my bronco II.when i bought the tranny before i was quoted to rebuild this trany would cost a little over $300 to rebuild and included install.thats why i bought it cause it was cheap to rebuild.now that i broke the tranny i went to confirm the price including install has risen close to $700?????which price is accurate?the c5 is the most basic 3spd auto trany.i personally can't see the price being around the $700 mark.i am willing to spend around the $300 mark to rebuild but not $700+.anybody have any info?
