Anybody done this.. How hard would it be, aside from the fabrication of engine mounts..?? I'm assuming I'd have to move the engine forward, so as to put in the either Th350/205 or SM465/205..

Go to www.suzukiconversion.com they have kits to put che v6 and v8 into a samurai. They also have a guide on how to do it yourself that you can buy for 50 bucks. Hope that helps

Ive seen it done 2 different ways. You can either stretch the frame out to fit the engine in or you can relocate the fan and radiator somewhere else. Other than that it should fit no problem. A 1 or 2 inch body lift would mkae it a lot easier to fit the tranny in the tiny samurai tranny tunnel. Get a set of custom headers and you'll be pullin wheelies in no time Good Luck

Or just mount the Sami on a blazer chassis and shorten the blazer frame.
