Anyone know if you can use regular Tranny fluid in the 2000 TJ sport transmission? Has anyone run regular tranny fluid in theirs? I'm asking because the dealership said that only one specific fluid that they make can go in there(I forget the part number), and not to use regular ATF fluid.

hi, if its the 5spd behind the 4.0L then the tranny would be a new venture (NV) 3550, I swapped one into my YJ from advanced adapters , NV is some sort of collaboration between Chrysler and GM I believe, so it takes mopar fluid, my tranny which could be installed in a ford, GM or whatever specified the Mopar part# ..., since its a fairly new specification it may take awhile for others to offer ...
