My 1987 Bronco XLT isn't running right now. It started a couple days ago, i was at work and i came outside and started her and the air conditioning (doesn't work) was making a funny noise. We figured it was a nosey bearing. Then she wouldn't start, I had corrided the starter from water and I replaced the starter. So she ran fine for about half a day, then well i was starting her up it was sort of whining, she i was driving her home, and as i slowed down the engine sounded like it was choking and it didn't sound like it was shifting gears (auto) proberly. The RPM would could really high then when it lowered, she ran okay. But then when i got her home, she stalled. So i waited, it started up fine again then in a minute it just died. Now when I try to start her she just whines and doesn't turn over...
We are thinking that this starter is also bad, we cleaned the distrubutor plugs and such but she still just whines rather then turn over...its a 1987 Bronco XLT with a 302...
Any ideas?
