Lately, Ive noticed a strong smell of gas when stopped at a light in my 95 Bronco. I know it is not leaking gas (I park in a garage and there is never any smells or leaks on the floor).
From time to time, the truck has a minor hesitation off the line, also, it has become a real pig on fuel, I mean, it used to get close to 500 km to a tank, now Im lucky if I get 350!
Another thing, over the summer, it died on me twice. Just quit and wouldnt start for about an hour or so. When it did start, it was fine! I changed the fuel filter about a month ago.
Any ideas?

sounds kinda like the fuel pressure regulator..... i would take it into a shop and have them do a fuel system leak down test and replace the regulator.

Had this exact problem with my explorer this summer. Every time i stopped i smelt gas and it liked to sputer a bit after it was shut off....turned out it was the fuel regulator which on mine is vacum controled. check your vacum lines and if there good i would bet on replacing the regulator.

Check your oil level I have seen lots that fill up the crank case, take off the vacum line a nd crank the motor over if ya see fuel out the vacum port it's bitched also check your presures at the port.
