i have a mazda 1986 b2000 with a 5 spd tranny, does anyone know if i can swapthe engine for a 350?

yes u can swap the engine , but u should swap everything else too(tranny, rear diff, cooling system 0 it most likely will not be that easy but i could be wrong .

it really wouldnt be any differant than swapping a SBC into an s-10 ..... that at least has been done lots ....

I would imagine the whole drivetrain would hafta be replaced ...and a little fab work would hafta be done to shoehorn that sucker under the hood

Should be possible - but a SB ford would be easier! Mazda trucks use ford components - so one would think a ford would swap better...

i think that mazda rebadged the ford ranger in something like 1993 or 1994, before then it was all mazda.

Nope, A friend of mine had an 86. We kept getting refered to the ford dealer for driveline parts (by the mazda dealer).

I used to have a 89 b2200 witha sbc it was nat to bad of a swap. you will have to weld in your own motor mounts. Use a chev tranny. shorty headers. I used the original rad, but moved it forward in the rad support a few inches so the motor would fit, the motor always stayed at 160
