k anyone got any suggestions on whats the best way to chage the passnger side axel seal, i changed it b4 but it was a realy pain in the ass to do, same with the ball joints, anyone got any good ways to change the shit if so, it could really help thanks?.

special tool required to change pass front axle seal. Pain in the ass even with the tool. I have to do mine too but will wait till it warms up.

well i thought it was my driver side axel shaft hitting the control arm cause the balljoints were fawked. but i fixed all that carnage but my truck is still clunking in 2wd, it seems like it only does when i let off the gas, but when i hit the gas it turns into a small ticking noise, anyone know what it could be??

front axle shaft u-joints?? Mine made the same noise. We should compare trucks, sounds like they have the same problems!!!

im guessing its in my rear diff but havnt had time to pull the cover off iv had the same problem b4.

i got a reallt easy way, k pull out axel, & inner axel, pull off vacuum pod,take a long rod 15" or so pop out the seal, k this is the easy part if dont have the speical tool , use two sael drivers and a long piece of treaded rod,1 seal driver sets on the utter end of tube which should b bigger in dia than the hole this 1 is where the axe u joint is the other seal driver will b slightly smaller than the seal this the one which will push the seal in place inside the tube, so run the theaded rod through the drivers and seal add nuts n washers , center the seal and start tightening, and tada u have the special tool, with seal in place, but dont over tighten it this will crush the seal, as will the proper tool will too!!just tighten it , them check it , dont force it , hope this hepls u

well i found the problem it was the rear diff arrrgg!!$$$$
