Hey all,
The cage is complete (well...we just need to bolt the plates in, paint was drying)
The total cost is $1500CDN or $1100US
The designer and fabricators built this to survive any crash. i may not but the cage will. They used a different flux on the welds. It is the type that allows you to weld in any direction. It is sloppier but the strength of the weld will not fail. Tests showed that the metal tube will break before the welds break! It is very expensive but so is my life.
