I want to put some beefier torsion bars in my Yota. Does anyone know approx what they' re worth, what ones are good etc.

BTW have you already cranked them to the max? Or just lookin' for new ones?

Thanks that article is pretty good. I haven't cranked my bars up yet cause it's an 87 Runner, and I've been told that crankin up old ones may cause them to break pretty easy. So this is why I wanna maybe get some new ones then crank em up.

I cranked up the original ones on the 89 4Runner I used to wheel with, had 33" boggers in there and a toyota V6. Never had a problem with them. Never lost any height. in fact, when I scrapped that truck, I kept the original torsion bars (don't ask me why but I did) If you want them to compare or even try out, you can have them.
