I'm wondering...how heavy is your rig?
I'm wondering about them Monroe Magnum shocks.
I had them on my Cheby 1/2 ton and shit canned them cuz they where too stiff for all the miles of wikkid washboard mountain roads we got here.
I'm trying to keep my Yoter under 3600 pounds( but it'll be about 200 pounds lighter when I build my alu deck). I'm thinkin them shocks might be too stiff...what do you think?
Also...have you got a link for the specs on their shocks?
I went on their site and for lifted trucks they send you straight to Rancho. Kinda tells you who makes Rancho shocks huh.
I'm sorta thinkin about Rancho 9000 shocks. Seen the cool Bilstiens(sp) with the external reservoirs but too much $$$$ right now...I got another truck to build right away.
Need a weird length...27" extended, 14 compressed...sounds like the travel you have but different mounting lengths.

Loc: stalkin cougar in a pub near y...
i gawt em front and rear on the exploder...
she tip's the H&R transport scale rite around the 6000lb mark....
rear seem's just perfikt... nice soft springs back there and sum campin/wheelin junk and she rides like a caddy...
front is another story... after i learned to ignore the massive ammount of body sway i noticed them shocks where werkin OT tryin to keep the front suspension under control... they ride nice tho... yer 1/2ton prolly had a stiff ass end to start with? no amount of shock kin make up fer a stiff spring or over loading but i am sure u should be the one to skool everyone on that...
my front springs are just stupid lift 2.5" er 4" F150 coil's... nuttin special...

the 9000's are nice.. adjustable and all that jazz... the 5000's i have here are 14" travel and FUKKIN STIFF...
