i was wandering about a swap from 4 speed to auto. is the c6 the only trans out there. its for a 79 bronco with 400. i will be dropping a 429 in within 2 years probably next summer. any help muchly appretiated. keep on fordxfording.

maybe you should have read the question dumbass, he's asking about a truck tech not web tech.

The swap is prety easy, just make sure you have all the parts from the donor. You'll need a vacuum source to the C-6. The crossmember and shafts should work. I would just use an aftermarket shifter as the stock ones suck. Your t-case will bolt right up.
