hey. I have an 89 runner with a 4cyl 22re, 5sp, 195k. It has a pretty rough idle. I replaced the plugs, wires, cap and rotor (figured it was about time anyway) and it didn't solve the problem. I had an older runner that had the same problem but I sold it before I had a chance to monkey around with it. Is there a pretty common thing that causes these to idle like crap. Any input would be appreciated. cheers

check to see if you have any vacuum leaks, use a propane torch, wave it around any air line or hoses.
if the truck speeds up while it is running then you have a leak.....And problem solved..
