The project started out when I recked my old 80 chevy. Once I stripped all useable parts off of it I needed to find something else to put all my parts into. I started out looking for a Jeep Scrambler, but couldn't find any worth putting any money into. And the ones that were worth it were way too expensive. Then I found an 89 4 runner for the right price. Then I stripped it except for body and frame and got rid of any of the left over toyota shit. Here are some pics and the spec sheet of the work so far.

Front Diff: Dana 60, 7.17 gears, powerlock

Rear Diff: Dana 60, 7.17 gears, spool, 35 spline axles

Tires: 39.5 Boggers

Rims: 16.5x12 Chrome Barts

Front Winch: Warn 8274, double wide spool, 300 ft cable

Rear Winch: 12000lb Warn

Suspension Mods: Double triangulated 4 link front and rear, 16inch travel Fox Air shocks, Stretched wheel base

He quit eh that too bad! Ya he was at my shop a few times had lots to say about your project. When do you think it will see dirt? Look's really good!!!

still lots to do but I am hoping for canada day or aug long.
I am trying to avoid any short cuts and minimize the amount of bugs I have to work out.
Is there enough good wheeling out there to warrant a pilgrimage out there. We plan on going out there for the ainsworth hotsprings but we were planning on leaving the toy at home.

Oh ya lots of wheelin out this way. There is so much area so the trails aren't run very often, the trails don't get dug out at all this is good and bad. Some runs could use some good ruts and erosion to make it interesting. Best part is I can leave from my house with a uninsured rig. I wish we had some skeg to throw in the works but when it rains and in spring mud can run pretty thick.Ainsworth is great if you change your mind and want to bring your toy let me know or if you can get away from the fam you might be able to hold a seat down in one of our baby rigs.

There is just 2 of us in the family so sneeking away is easy, When I get it running I will definatly bring it out,
Maybe the furry bird can get off his rocker and come play too.

I bought a tarp for it.

I am saving up for the hydro steering kit(a friend is going to pick his up in the states in feb so i am gonna send some cash with him) and still trying to decide weather to leave it carburated and get it running or wait a bit and put multi port injection on it and wire it just once.

And with all the proposed trail closer's around here I don't want any credit card debt on this project, I'll need the credit card room to bribe Ted so I go with him.
