Does anyone know how to get some skidplates for a 91 sidekick they seem to be impossible to come by? This is driving me nuts I have been looking for what feels like forever. If any of ya have a suggestion then I will take it.

Thanks

hmm seams like yer wanted post! Shawna I was on ebay yesterday and I found a full set of skid plates for your kick. They were from Quebec. Search out in "parts and accesories" for sidekick skid plates!

Shawna...don't forget...you guys who are building thwackers and kicks are sorta breaking new ground. A lot of stuff for these has to be custom built. That's where all the other stuff for other rigs started...from people like you guys in their garages etc...building or changing things to make a better machine.
Skid plates really are simple to build. Don't any of your friends fool around with welders and torches?

So we finally broke the sidekick....it will be repaired...this has left a bad taste in my mouth. We ended up breaking a part off the rear cross member soa the truck was grinding the hell out of our trani. I wanted to cry. But we will have the new part by wednesday and have it on not long after that. What a time you can go through when you put your truck through hell. we have also thought about adding a jeep to our family with or sidekick and lincoln. Hope this will all be better soon!!!!

Oh just that you have a great machine now and everyone has a jeep (even me) But I wanted to be different and am building the same rig as yours. I have abused the crap out of the ifs and now it gets a solid axle 33's cage ect oh and the wife wants me to paint it (rubbed alot of the current paint off)
