My 81 f-150 has a dana 44 front and an
8.8 rear.Ijust got my tires and was wondering
if anybody knows how it will hold up?I am not
an agressive mudder for now do to the drivetrain
most of the time 4 wheel low 2 gear just wallowing
through the mud my tires are the 38.5x15x15
swamper boggers and so far i love them. This truck
is offroad only not fit for the road and sees very little pavement any advise would be appreciated
thanks.

Loc: stalkin cougar in a pub near y...
go grab a spare set of hub's an a spare set of axles for the front from the wreckin yard an toss em in the box somewhere...... when the 8.8 break's just stik a 9" in there it will prolly be cheaper/stronger then puttin in another 8.8"...

TTB suspension is the mother of all grader blades in the slop but it's mind over matter.... if ya dont mind then it dont fukkin matter....

wheel it till it start's pukin out shit on a regular basis then upgrade what you break the most of...... F150 stuff is cheap and common as knob rot on a navy ship in the wreckin yard's.

Ya 38" are a bit big for the 8.8 but if your smart about it you get some life out of it until your sick of it and go to bigger diff's. If you don't know how to set up gears and bearing you soon will be an expert. Throw some pic's up of the truck, we always need to see more iron!
