i am werkin awn a new rig now... gawts me the basics... 52"s, locked all around, full hydro steerin, full skid plates, 4-53 detroit supercharged, T98 4spd, 2spd t-case with reversing box in the t-case, 24,000lb PTO wench, 18,000lb eaton diff's with planetairy outters, driveline brake... ya know... the basics... a lite wheelin rig around these parts...

nawt bad fer $500 eh? its an older gear jammer with a T18 tranny currently has a hole thru the case but should be fixd by friday...

if you like that lil machine youd luv my old man's 668... powershift tranny, 6-53 detroit, 60,000lb hyd winch (free speed 300 feet per min)...

Wow Dan'l...brings back a lot of memories! I spent 6 or 7 years jockeyin them ol Rangers in the hi country when I was a kid.
Ran a couple tippy lil 666's...lots of V6 Cummins 667's and near the end the V8 Cummins powered 668's.
Those 668's where the Cadillac of the bush IMO.
Most here were grapples but ran one with a winch for awhile....pulling power was amazing.
I used to love burying the french buckermen with the grapples...lol! They hated me.
Plug the landing 3 feet deep with trees then sit on the machine with my feet up...drinkin coffee and laughin at them...

Ooops...rolled a few of them down the mountain too. The side stick controls were good to brace yourself when it was crashin on its lid.

as per our museings on skidder VS trucktor...

found ya a good crossover machine that kin pull a log er two or a 40' swather... its fer sale... dad tell's me the last one he seen around these parts the skiddin arch wuz 12' from the ground to the top roller...

when they started makin these 880's the only tire that would werk wuz one from an open pit mine truck... and even a farmer couldent be able to break anything on this machine.
