Hi Guys,

My Jeep CJ-7 is finally finished. I raced it at a local event on the long weekend, and it performed very well. When the driver gets up to speed, it should be a serious contender.

My photographer didn't get any action shots - said he forgot while his mouth was hanging open. Here is a shot in the pits just before the first pass...

Thanks to all the guys who helped me out over the past 4 years, particularly hairy-kanary who supplied the recipe for gearing, etc.

Regards,
Terry Penner

Thanks for taking a look. My original plan was to stretch the stock frame 18", but it was too rotten. I built a stretched replica of it. The motor is a 274 Buick V6, with a TH350 and Dana 20 transfer case. Axles are Scout II.

I'm running in Modified (in Manitoba) right now, but looking at Open class with nitrous and paddle tires. Those tires look expensive. Are cut TSL's anywhere near as good?
