I haven't looked at the sticker shock value on alu heads lately and am far behind on what's best anymore but.. you'll like aluminum heads on that just for the weight savings alone.
They'll let you run another point of compression easy.
The rollers...pretty good stuff. I used to use them til I started using 800 pound springs. The trunnions weren't big enough for a steady diet of that load, so I sold them but they lasted for a long time. Ran the one set in my nitrous rig for about 4 years then a full season in my blown gas 484. Never had a problem...all running the biggest solid cams I could get at the time.
Rollers lower the oil temp somewhat also. Takes the friction factor(say that fast 20 times) out of that part.
If you get them...make sure you get all the special lil' washers and shit they should have. I'd stud the heads if they aren't done.
And look at the top of the head stud holes. If they look like the stud threads were binding in them.. get the top 1/16" chamfered. If you don't the alu can flow into the top of the holes, surround the stud and sorta get peened in there... it can be a real bitch to loosen the heads off.
Under normal cicumstances your motor will run cooler too.
and you can burn a little more nitrous with them.
What did I forget??? Prolly something...next..
